About these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of combathypnosis.com and any hypnotherapy or coaching services provided by Matthew Robinson trading as Combat Hypnosis ("we", "us", "Matthew"). By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Services
Combat Hypnosis provides clinical hypnotherapy and performance coaching services. All sessions are delivered by Matthew Robinson, who is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and verified by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Sessions are available in-person in Norwich, UK, and online worldwide via video call. Session formats, durations and pricing are as described on this website at the time of booking.
Bookings
Bookings are made via Calendly. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from Calendly. By booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if, in Matthew's professional judgement, hypnotherapy is not suitable for you at that time. In this case, any payment made will be refunded in full.
Cancellation & rescheduling
- More than 48 hours' notice — cancellation or rescheduling free of charge
- 24–48 hours' notice — 50% of the session fee is charged
- Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show — the full session fee is charged
In the event Matthew needs to cancel or reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or alternative appointment at no additional cost.
Payment
Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. Payments must be received prior to or on the day of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to require payment in advance for new clients.
Results disclaimer
Hypnotherapy results vary between individuals. While many clients experience significant positive change, we make no guarantee of specific outcomes. Any case studies, testimonials or results described on this website reflect the experiences of individual clients and are not representative of results every client will achieve.
Combat Hypnosis is a complementary therapy service. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have a diagnosed medical or psychiatric condition, please consult your GP or specialist before booking.
Suitability & contraindications
Hypnotherapy may not be suitable for everyone. You must inform Matthew at the time of booking if you have or have had any of the following:
- Epilepsy or seizure disorders
- Psychosis, schizophrenia or personality disorders
- Severe depression or active suicidal ideation
- Pregnancy (certain techniques may not be appropriate)
- Any other significant mental or physical health condition
Failure to disclose relevant health information may affect the outcome of treatment and releases Matthew Robinson from any liability arising from that non-disclosure.
Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is treated as strictly confidential. Confidentiality may only be broken in the following circumstances:
- Where there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person
- Where required by law or court order
- As required by our professional regulatory bodies
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, audio, video and design — is the property of Matthew Robinson or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written consent.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matthew Robinson shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of this website or from hypnotherapy sessions, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking shall apply to that booking.
